HTC is developing a mobile operating system for China

Since few years HTC is struggling to gain a respectable position in the mobile industry where companies like Samsung and Apple have become the user’s brand of choice .With decreasing sales in North America and Europe, China is a market where HTC has always experienced growth and with the Chinese market flooded with Google and Apple powered devices with whom the Chinese government has gone into bitter relationship since the past few years ,the need for an indigenous mobile operating system just makes sense . The operating system is supposed to have deep integration with applications and services often used by the Chinese people and is slated for launch at the end of 2013 with a china only exclusive release. HTC is trying to meet all the points the Chinese officials want in developing this operating system .Whether this will be a completely new operating system build from scratch or built over android is not known yet.

Sony's new phone – The Sony Xperia M

Sony has unveiled it's latest smartphone in indian market – the Sony Xperia M. This Android smartphone can be pre-ordered through major e-retailers such as FlipKart, Infibeam etc. Flipkart and Infibeam is offering it at Rs 12,990 and this device will be made available on August 18.

  

The Sony Xperia M is an Android Jelly Beans smartphone that comes with a 4-inch (854 x 480) TFT display. It comes equipped with a 5MP camera with an LED flash and 0.3MP front camera. Both cameras are capable of recording 720px HD videos.

Sony Xperia M comes with 4 inch capacitive touchscreen display offering a resolution of 854 x 480 pixel and color depth of 16M color. Other Display features are Scratch Resistant, Backlit, 4 point Multi-touch, Auto Rotation, Handwriting Recognition, Gesture input and touch panel cover glass.

When it comes to rumour’s there is no device on earth that can be compared to an iPhone let it be release dates ,specs or even pricing the phone is always in the media spotlight .This time the news comes from allthingsd who claims that the iPhone 5s we be launched at a September 10^th press conference this sounds possible because of the company’s history which have released the previous generation iPhone’s somewhere around the 3rd quarter . However no indication has been given about the release of the low cost iPhone. The specs included iOs 7 and all new processor the phone will however inherit the design of the Iphone5 and is rumoured to have a finger print scanner. At this point of time there are also various speculations about the launch of other Apple products which include the iPhone 6, iPhone 5c (low cost iPhone) and for that matter even the iPad 5 to take place somewhere in September.

LG’s new flagship phone: The LG G2

LG has gone out great guns in making its new flagship phone The LG G2 a success .The  android  4.2.2 phone comes with an 5.2 inch 1080p IPS LCD display with an impressive 423 ppi (pixel per inch) it is  still  behind the Samsung Galaxy S4 which has an 440 ppi but anything above 400 ppi would anyways look great. The company claims that its display consumes the same amount of power that a 4.7 inch display consumes. Under the hood there is the standard 2GB ram now found in almost all the high end flagship device out there, however it sport the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quard core processor clocked at 2.26 Ghz and will be the only worldwide available phone that sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, it has an 13 megapixel rear camera and an 1.2 megapixel front facing camera. A massive 3000mAh keeps this Phone going.

The overall design is not something that will blow you away and LG has gone on to place the power and the volume buttons at the back of the phone under the camera lens which for some reason will irritate you .Though the phone has an Qualcomm snapdragon 800 processor LG gave a miss on the touch less control feature the processor has to offer which was shown off at the launch of Motorola X. LG too like many other manufacture’s has gone on to put a lot of software which is nothing revolutionary. 

In an era where hardware is no longer a problem, manufactures are trying to differentiate their products by creating new features and software’s this is where LG has failed .By providing the hardware which is already in the market and failing to create something new in the software department the New LG G2 has a stiff competition ahead.

New nexus 7 with Android 4.3

Recently, Samsung launched three new Android Tablets in the Indian market. Now Google has unveiled it's latest second generation tablet Nexus 7. Named as Nexus 7 (2013) model. The device comes with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and 'Retina' display.

The 7-inch Android tablet is 50 grams lighter and narrower than the original model. it also comes with soft-touch feel and has a black body.

The screen offers a full HD 1920 x 1200-pixel display, which Google says is the worlds highest resolution 7-inch tablet with 323 pixel per inch(ppi). The screen also supports a 30% wider range of colors.

Camera
Device has 1.2 MP front camera for hangouts and 5 MP back camera.both the cameras are capable of recording full 1080p HD videos.

Sound
The new Nexus 7 also has stereo speakers and virtual surround sound tech provided by Fraunhofer.

Memory
Device has a quad-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor which offers an 80% faster speed and 4x the graphics performance. The system memory has been upgraded from 1GB and 2GB.

Cost
This time there are 3 models:  16GB Wi-Fi model for $230, 32GB Wi-Fi for $270 and 32GB LTE model will cost $350. The Nexus 7 will be available on July 30th form Google play store as well as several retailers.

Recently, XOLO has launched it's new smartphone on Monday. And now Samsung launched three new Android Tablets in the Indian market on Thursday. The South korean giant unveiled the Galaxy Tab series with three tablets the Galaxy Tab 3 211 7.0-inch tablet(3G+Wi-Fi), the Galaxy Tab 3 310 8.0-inch tablet(Wi-Fi only) and the Galaxy Tab 3 311 8.0-inch(3G+Wi-Fi).

it also comes eith 15GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 46GB with microSD card.it also packs a 4,450mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0-inch is comes with two variants.The galaxy Tab 3 311 which has 3G (voice and data) support while the Galaxy Tab 3 310 comes in a Wi-Fi version only.

Tab 3 310 and 311 do seems kike decent tablets but the pricing is still on the higher side when you compare the tablet with Nexus 7.

Nokia has unveiled its latest Lumia smartphone — the Lumia 1020.The Nokia Lumia 1020's 41 megapixel camera comes with Xenon flash for still images, LED flash for video. It has ZEISS optics' six physical lenses.The 41-megapixel camera records more detail than other camera phones and even tops point-and-shoot cameras. Nokia says the Lumia 1020 gives people the ability to take good pictures with a device they always carry. It also has a HD 1.2 megapixel wide angle front camera.
